De las pioneras en Mallorca.

Can Ribas es una bodega familiar de tradición histórica situada en el municipio de Consell. Desde el año 1711 la familia Ribas se ha dedicado al cuidado de la viña y a la elaboración de vino; se trata de una de las bodegas más antiguas de Mallorca. Cerca de la bodega se encuentran 40 ha de viñas propias, en su mayoría cepas viejas, que son el valor más importante de la bodega. La uva obtenida se vendimia manualmente y una vez en las instalaciones se selecciona grano a grano y se elabora con mucho cuidado. El objetivo prioritario de la bodega es conseguir vinos de la máxima calidad siempre respetando las tradiciones pero en continua investigación. Pedro Ribas de Cabrera comenzó en el año 1711 la construcción de la bodega. Los Ribas se dedicaban a los cultivos tradicionales de la isla como la vid y el olivo. Desde entonces se ha elaborado ininterrumpidamente vino en Can Ribas, y éste ha ido ganando reconocimiento año tras año. La adquisición de prestigio comenzó ya en el siglo pasado al obtener la Medalla de Perfección en la Exposición Nacional Vinícola de 1877. Los descendientes de Pedro Ribas intentamos continuar su labor y trabajar según un estilo de vida que marca por encima de todo el respeto a las tradiciones y el amor por el trabajo bien hecho. La antigua bodega se ha reformado y modernizado para optimizar las vinificaciones y la tahona, donde antaño se elaboraba el aceite, se ha adaptado como nave de barricas. Producción media anual: 130.000 botellas.

Capacidad: 120.000 litros en depósitos de acero inoxidable y 60.000 litros en depósitos de cemento revestido.

Renovación anual: 20% del total de las barricas.
Antigüedad: Utilización hasta un máximo de 5 años.
Prensa: Neumática de 20 hl. de capacidad.
