En Bodegas Faustino lo primero y fundamental es la tierra, en propiedad. Para acometer esta expansión, Julio echa mano del pilar familiar: sus hijos. Han compaginado los estudios universitarios con la formación en el negocio familiar viviendo desde su juventud el trabajo en la viña, la ilusión de la vendimia y la bodega. Hoy ocupan puestos directivos en las bodegas, haciendo perdurable el carácter de empresa familiar del grupo Faustino. Bodegas Faustino ha elaborado un protocolo familiar que hará posible que este grupo de bodegas siga siendo, por encima de todo, 100% familiar y que nos asegure un futuro donde el objetivo principal sea buscar la calidad sin hacer concesión a las "modas pasajeras", estableciendo lazos comerciales y amistades permanentes. Tener viñedos propios es factor primordial para poder vendimiar en el momento óptimo. Bodegas Faustino es propietaria de 650 hectáreas de los mejores viñedos repartidos por los términos de Laguardia, Logroño, Mendavia y Oyón. Las variedades: es donde comienza todo. No se puede hacer un buen vino sin una buena variedad de uva. Existen distintas variedades de uva, en Bodegas Faustino se cultivan: Tempranillo, Graciano, Mazuelo y Viura.
Experiencia y tradición.
Bodegas Faustino, situada en Oyón, Rioja Alavesa, goza de un prestigio internacional logrado a lo largo de más de 150 años de experiencia en la elaboración y crianza de vinos de alta gama. Atravesar las puertas de Bodegas Faustino es adentrarse en la historia del vino. Es vivir una experiencia en una de las bodegas más reconocidas a nivel mundial. Es perderse en el inmenso parque de barricas o en su espectacular botellero. Es conocer una gran bodega en la que reposan más de nueve millones de botellas. Otros países importantes donde Faustino está presente son: Estados Unidos, Rusia, Australia, Indonesia, Países Bálticos y, recientemente, China. Faustino I es el Gran Reserva de la DOCa Rioja más vendido en el mundo, con casi el 40% de las ventas de vino en su categoría.
