Variedades autóctonas de gran valor.

En el centro geográfico de la provincia de Huesca, la comarca de Somontano ofrece algunos de los vinos más especiales de nuestro panorama vinícola nacional. El clima ofrece unas condiciones excepcionales para el cultivo de vid. En estas tierras, el Grupo Bodegas Barbadillo, el mayor criador de manzanillas de todo el Marco de Jerez, ha adquirido el 76% de las acciones de Bodega Pirineos, elaboradora de vinos de calidad y que ha conquistado el paladar norteamericano por la magnífica relación calidad-precio de sus vinos. Variedades autóctonas de gran valor enológico como la macabeo, la moristel o o la parraleta conviven perfectamente con las foráneas merlot, cabernet sauvignon o chardonnay en los viñedos de esta bodega. Un mestizaje que aporta a sus vinos su carácter singular.

Respeto por el pasado.

La filosofía de esta bodega prepirenaica está basada en valores como el respeto por el pasado, la tradición, la apuesta por el futuro, la constante innovación, la convivencia de las variedades foráneas como la Merlot, la Cabernet sauvignon o la Gewürztraminer con variedades autóctonas de gran valor enológico. En definitiva, el mestizaje marca el ADN de Bodegas Pirineos desde su origen. Los vinos de esta casa nacen en una tierra especial y única en nuestro país, marcada por un microclima de tipo atlántico de fuertes contrastes térmicos entre el día y la noche y también entre el verano y el invierno. El resultado de este terroir son vinos sólidos, originales y con una tremenda finura y equilibrio.
