Los orígenes de Bodegas Chivite se remontan nada menos que a 1647, tal y como acredita un documento oficial fechado en agosto de ese año. Desde entonces, once generaciones de esta prestigiosa la saga vinícola navarra se han dedicado a elaborar vinos de primerísima calidad hasta convertirse en uno de los emporios vinícolas más importantes del país. Algunas de sus gamas, como la “Colección 125”, creada en 1985 para conmemorar la primera exportación de la bodega, se han convertido en auténticos iconos vinícolas. Al mismo grupo pertenece Bodegas Gran Feudo, firma fundada en 1872 por Claudio Chivite en Cintruénigo, en pleno corazón vitivinícola navarro. Desde entonces, la familia ha equipado progresivamente la bodega con la tecnología más avanzada para la producción de unos vinos que, añada tras añada, han sabido mantener el espíritu con el que fueron elaborados por primera vez hace casi 50 años. Actualmente exporta sus vinos a más de 58 países dirigidas por Fernando Chivite. Además de sus marcas en Navarra, han extendido sus propiedades a Rueda, Ribera del Duero y Rioja. Chivite se fundamenta en 4 pilares: viticultura ecológica, control de plagas, conservación de la naturaleza y uso de un humedal para el agua de la bodega. Además, combinan la tradición con las mejores innovaciones en los procesos de elaboración de los vinos para ser el referente de Navarra.
