Sabine y Christof, somos la quinta generación que cuidamos la finca Tiefenbrunner Castel Turmhof. Este legado, lleno de tradición, es un privilegio y, al mismo tiempo, un compromiso de nuestra parte para continuar escribiendo la historia de Tiefenbrunner capítulo tras capítulo, año tras año. Nuestras raíces se adentran en la historia. La propiedad de Linticlar fue mencionada por primera vez, en registros oficiales que datan de 1225 D.C. Los hallazgos de la Edad de Piedra y Bronce, que se encuentran cerca de las ruinas del castillo, dan fe de la presencia de asentamientos ya en tiempos prehistóricos. En 1848, el Turmhof fue incluido en el registro comercial como una bodega y esto lo convierte en una de las propiedades más antiguas de todo el Tirol del Sur. Antes del final de la Segunda Guerra Mundial, Herbert Tiefenbrunner (1928-2015) abordó el arte del maestro de bodega a la temprana edad de 15 años. En 1968, su esposa Hilde inauguró el punto de refrigerio. En 2000, llegó nuestro turno de comprometernos a continuar con la cultura y la tradición vitivinícola de nuestra familia.

Nuestra familia posee unas 25 hectáreas de tierra en Niclara, Cortaccia y Magrè, a una altitud entre 250 y 1000 metros sobre el nivel del mar. Además, recibimos uvas de las 45 hectáreas de tierra de otros productores, que han colaborado fielmente con nosotros durante muchos años. Esta actitud requiere cuidado cuidadoso y procesamiento de los recursos que la naturaleza nos ofrece y un conocimiento perfecto de las características distintivas de nuestro territorio. "Es la naturaleza la que nos da el ritmo: nos adaptamos y cuidamos de darle a cada variedad el suelo en el que pueda desarrollarse de la mejor manera". El espléndido clima templado y los suelos ligeramente arcillosos con un alto contenido de piedra caliza constituyen una base geoclimática perfecta para el desarrollo de nuestros viñedos, ubicados en el lado oeste de la Bassa Atesina, acariciados por un microclima particular y una exposición óptima. La armonía entre el hombre y la naturaleza y la combinación perfecta de variedad y lugar de producción abarcan nuestro trabajo diario, realizado en nombre de la responsabilidad hacia la tierra que cultivamos. Para nosotros, el progreso es sinónimo de apoyar procesos naturales con la experiencia de generaciones pasadas y presentes, atención al detalle y trabajo manual meticuloso.
Es a 1,000 metros sobre el nivel del mar donde cultivamos nuestra parcela más preciada. Se encuentra en el Monte Favogna, hogar de nuestro galardonado FELDMARSCHALL VON FENNER , un claro ejemplo de los resultados que se pueden lograr con un ejercicio cuidadoso del arte de producir vino. Nuestras 3 hectáreas en Favogna representan el terreno de cultivo más alto de uvas Müller-Thurgau en Europa. Seguimos con el compromiso adquirido por nuestros antepasados.
