Lis Neris ha podido establecerse a lo largo del tiempo gracias a un talento probablemente único, al poder leer, no solo en el terreno y sus variedades históricas, sino también diferentes estilos y viñas, centrando cada vez más el tiro. El mérito es de Álvaro Pecorari, dueño y alma de esta importante bodega. Estamos en Gorizia, una de las ciudades fronterizas más fascinantes y controvertidas de Europa. Un lugar capaz, gracias a un crisol cultural único, de crear productos de gran personalidad. Si bien es cierto que las raíces de Lis Neris se hunden en las cuatro generaciones anteriores, también es cierto que el año del punto de inflexión fue 1981, cuando una nueva mentalidad de producción comenzó a tomar forma, dirigida a lograr una mayor calidad, verdadero leitmotiv de cada vino de Alvaro Pecorari.
