Historia.
Todo comenzó en el año 1994, cuando el Grupo Faustino Martínez, ubicado en la Rioja Alavesa, adquirió una joven bodega situada justo enfrente de su sede. Es la tercera bodega dentro de la Denominación de Origen Calificada Rioja. Marqués de Vitoria recorre el viaje de la innovación y la modernidad, y emprende este viaje desde el compromiso con el medio ambiente y la personalidad acogedora de su tierra, Rioja Alavesa. La bodega y sus vinos conjugan perfectamente la esencia y las raíces de esta tierra con la capacidad para innovar. Marqués de Vitoria es inquietud, ansía por explorar nuevos caminos, es libertad y autenticidad. Situada en Oyón, Rioja Alavesa, dispone de una superficie construída de 8.700 metros cuadrados, en los que reposan 960.00 botellas. También cuenta con 47 botelleros privados, rimeros, de clientes y amigos. En su arquitectura sobresalen sus naves de barricas con un artesonado de madera antigua, donde guardan su parque de barricas que asciende a 17.000.-, de las que 13.000.- son de roble americano y 4.000.- de roble francés. A 60 kilómetros de Vitoria, en plena Rioja Alavesa, se encuentran nuestras bodegas, en el pueblo de Oyón. Marqués de Vitoria elabora vinos de un estilo contemporáneo y fresco para aquellas personas que, con una personalidad curiosa disfrutan descubriendo de todo tipo de experiencias. Porque la mayoría de veces, encontramos cerca lo que nos empeñamos en buscar fuera.
Viñedos.
Las fincas de Marqués de Vitoria, 100 % en propiedad, se extienden por los términos de la D.O.Ca Rioja de Oyón, Barriobusto y Mendavia. Una zona situada a unos 650 metros de altura sobre el nivel del mar que nos proporcionan uvas con un gran potencial aromático. 58 hectáreas de viñedo de las variedades Tempranillo y 4 hectáreas de Viura para la elaboración de nuestro blanco.
