Los viñedos.

Château Teyssier es un Saint-Emilion Grand Cru situado en el corazón de la denominación Saint-Emilion. La finca está llena de historia que se remonta al año 1700, pero en el momento en que Jonathan y Lyn Maltus llegaron a la finca en 1994, el viñedo constaba de cinco hectáreas y media en la comuna de Vignonet en la llanura de Saint-Emilion. Los viñedos se extienden ahora a más de cincuenta hectáreas de vid, una gran parte de los cuales se encuentran entre los Cru Classé.junto a la aldea de Saint-Emilion. Como el tamaño promedio de un Château de Saint-Emilion está cerca de cinco acres, Château Teyssier tiene un tamaño respetable.

Los productos.

Château Teyssier está ubicado en la comuna de Vignonet, en el departamento de Gironda, en el centro de Saint-Émilion. La familia Maltus, propietarios desde 1994, han restaurado, modernizado y, finalmente, construído una segunda bodega. Château Teyssier cuenta con cerca de 30 hectáreas, donde cultivan las variedades merlot (85%) y Cabernet Franc (15%). Además de su Grand Cru Château Teyssier, la finca produce, entre otros, Le Dôme, Vieux Château Mazerat, Les Astéries, Le Carré, Clos Nardian y el Château Laforge.
