Historia de una bodega.
Bodegas Rey Fernando de Castilla recibe su nombre en honor al Rey Fernando de Castilla “El Santo” que conquistó buena parte de Andalucía en el siglo XIII y que descubrió las cualidades excepcionales del suelo y el clima para producir vinos de calidad excepcional. La historia de la bodega empieza con la familia Andrada-Vanderwilde, que tiene larga tradición en la zona y que hace dos siglos ya producían uva y vinos para la elaboración de vinos de Jerez. En 1972, D. Fernando Andrada-Vanderwilde creó la marca “Fernando de Castilla” con el objetivo de producir el brandy más selecto de España. Fernando de Castilla es una pequeña bodega centenaria encabezada hoy por un joven equipo que ha querido mantener el carácter familiar de la empresa. Si bien empezó elaborando brandy de Jerez, en la actualidad produce una amplia gama de productos de gama media y alta, como la prestigiosa Antique, con fino, oloroso, amontillado, palo cortado y Pedro Ximénez.
